I will definitely recommend my family and friends to visit. Prices were reasonable and the staff was courteous and helpful. The play area is top notch. My baby enjoyed a lot. Best part is that they have separate areas for food and play. We just loved the decor of the place and it was completely baby safe. Had visited duck duck goose today. Amazing ambience and decor. The kids had a great time in the play area and were not willing to leave.
Food was really good too unlike other playzones. We enjoyed the pizza, fish finger. Club sandwich is a must try. Everybody remembers the beloved childhood game where children sit in a circle and chase each other when called upon.
You read that right. The childhood favorite is not what you think it is. Minnesota is the only state in the country that calls it this, but it is infinitely superior. The most convincing piece of evidence is the origins of the game. Not goose. Sign up to join this community. The best answers are voted up and rise to the top. Is there evidence that this game originated in Sweden? You seem to state it as fact, but similar games with different names have been played in other countries for a long time, definitely before the period you're talking about.
Note that "Duck, Duck, Goose" is not played in Minnesota. I only bring this up because the question seems to assume that "Duck, Duck, Goose" took root in Minnesota, then spread from there to the rest of the US, but, if that were the case, it would have been the "Gray Duck" variant which spread from Minnesota, not the "Goose" variant.
DaveSherohman Interesting. If "gray duck" is an alternate term for the "goose", and if it has also been popular in Scandinavia for a long time, the idea may have been related to Hans Christian Anderson's story "The Ugly Duckling".
