The downloads page has seen the bulk of the improvements. For starters, as well as showing download progress, the page also now shows installation progress.
The priority of downloads in the queue can now be easily reordered by dragging and dropping them, and the interface generally looks a lot cleaner overall. Those are the main improvements, but there are a host of other tweaks and fixes included in the update, which should be available to all users now. Steam provides a unified download and update experience for customers that easily allows them to manage the schedule and location of their downloads, and can result in significant performance gains and cost savings to developers.
